Position Overview
Curb Cart Concrete is seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Yard Operator for our Murray location. This position plays a key role in daily yard operations, equipment maintenance, and customer support.
This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values accountability, and contributes positively to a fast-paced team environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
Rotating Saturdays
Consistent full-time hours
Key Responsibilities
Yard & Equipment Operations
Load and prepare concrete carts accurately and efficiently
Clean and maintain concrete carts daily
Maintain plant equipment and overall yard cleanliness
Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs
Keep the yard organized, safe, and operational at all times
Deliveries & Customer Support
Assist customers with cart loading and provide safety instructions
Maintain professional and respectful customer interactions
Perform local deliveries as needed (No CDL required)
Ensure equipment is returned clean and in proper condition
Communication & Team Coordination
Communicate clearly with office staff regarding supply levels
Assist with monitoring materials and operational needs
Work closely with team members to maintain a smooth daily workflow
Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation and strong, consistent attendance
Ability to arrive on time and ready to work each day
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
Comfortable interacting professionally with customers
Self-motivated and able to stay productive throughout the shift
Compensation
Starting at $20.00 per hour (depending on experience).
A formal performance evaluation will be conducted after a 90-day introductory period. Wage increases are based on reliability, performance, and overall contribution to the team.
